Vemulawada Infant Death: Family Alleges Medical Negligence at Government Hospital

A five-day-old infant lost his life in Vemulawada, with family members say’s medical negligence by the doctors.

According to the family, even five days after delivery, doctors failed to inform them that the newborn’s condition was critical and they did not communicate properly to the family. They claim that timely information and proper care could have safe infant life here.

The incident took place at the Vemulawada Hospital, under the constituency of Government under MLA Adi Srinivas.

This is not the first such concern raised about the hospital. Just a month ago, hospital staff reportedly turned away a full-term pregnant woman at night, citing the absence of a gynecologist.

The grieving family has now demanded strict action against the doctors, holding their negligence responsible for the infant’s death.
